The Samueli School of Engineering (SSoE) offers a diverse range of graduate programs leading to the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), Master of Science (M.S.), and professional master's degrees. With a vibrant community of more than 1,000 graduate students, the school provides an environment where innovation, discovery, and collaboration thrive. Our graduate programs combine rigorous academics, cutting-edge research, and hands-on learning to prepare students to become leaders in engineering, industry, and academia while addressing the world's most pressing challenges.

The Graduate Student Affairs (GSA) Office is committed to supporting students throughout every stage of their graduate experience, from exploring graduate study and applying for admission to reaching their academic and professional goals. Working in partnership with the school's academic departments, faculty, and the Graduate Division, we provide guidance and resources related to admissions, funding and fellowships, academic advising, professional development, graduation, and degree conferral. We also serve as the school's final point of review for petitions, advancement to candidacy, degree conferrals, and other key academic processes. Whether you are considering applying or are already part of the Samueli community, our team is here to help you succeed.
